Cookie Policy
1. Our approach: cookieless by default
This site does not set tracking cookies. Not because a banner made us hide them — there are none. We are a data company; we know exactly how much can be extracted from tracking, which is why we don't do it to our visitors.
2. The complete storage inventory
Everything the Site stores in your browser:
- Cookies: none set by us. Cloudflare, which protects this domain, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as
__cf_bm) during bot-mitigation challenges — it is essential, short-lived, and not used for advertising. - localStorage: one key,
sparsim-consent, remembering that you dismissed our informational notice, so we don't show it again. It contains a boolean and a timestamp, nothing else. - Websocket: the live demo on the home page keeps a websocket open to our own backend. It carries the demo counter and any form you submit; it sets no cookies and carries no identifiers.
3. Analytics
Traffic measurement uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool: no cookies, no localStorage, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking — aggregate counts only. Because it stores nothing on your device, EU cookie-consent rules do not require an opt-in for it, which is why our banner informs rather than asks.
4. Clearing what little there is
Delete the sparsim-consent key via your browser's site-data settings (usually “Clear site data” for spars.im) and the notice will simply appear again on your next visit. Blocking JavaScript entirely keeps the informational content readable — the live demo and the contact form need it.
5. Changes
If we ever introduce a tool that stores identifiers on your device, this page will list it by name, and the banner will switch from informational to a real opt-in before anything loads.
