Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website, spars.im (the “Site”), is operated by SPARSIM (“we”, “us”). We are a data engineering studio, and we hold ourselves to the same data-handling standards we promise clients. For any privacy matter, contact us using the button below — the address is not printed on the page to keep it away from scrapers, which is itself a small privacy statement.

2. What we collect

We collect the minimum the Site needs to function:

  • Contact form: name, email address, optional company name, optional budget range, and your message — only when you submit the form.
  • Newsletter: your email address, only when you subscribe.
  • Technical logs: standard server and edge logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) generated by our hosting infrastructure and by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the Site.

We do not run advertising, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data with data brokers. Traffic analytics, if enabled, is Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless measurement tool that does not track individuals across sites.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

  • Answering your inquiry — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Sending the newsletter you asked for — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable anytime.
  • Keeping the Site secure and available (logs, abuse prevention) — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Where it lives and for how long

Form submissions and newsletter signups are stored in a database we host and operate on our own infrastructure in Europe — not in a third-party CRM. Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then deleted or anonymized. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs rotate on short schedules.

5. Recipients and processors

  • Our hosting infrastructure provider (servers located in Europe).
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, DDoS protection, and (if enabled) cookieless analytics for this domain.
  • Our email provider, when we reply to you by email.

No ad networks, no social plugins, no third-party trackers.

6. International transfers

The Site is served through Cloudflare's global network, which may process technical request data outside your country under appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses that Cloudflare offers). The content you submit through forms is stored on our infrastructure in Europe.

7. Your rights

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, you can request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; restriction of or objection to processing; and data portability. You can withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time without affecting past processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email us — we reply within one business day, same as everything else.

8. Security

The Site is served over TLS only. Form data travels over an encrypted connection to a backend we run ourselves, with access restricted to the engineers who answer inquiries. Secrets and credentials for this infrastructure are stored in a dedicated vault, never in code or tickets — the same practice we promise clients.

9. No tracking, spelled out

  • No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Fonts are self-hosted — no font CDN sees your visits.
  • Analytics, if any, is cookieless and aggregate-only.
  • The email address on this site is click-to-reveal, so harvesters can't scrape it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. Material changes to how we handle form data would be noted prominently on this page.
